Eco Modular Systems - Timber Frame Garages

Timber frame is becoming one of the most requested methods of garage construction, mainly due to speed of construction, low cost and ‘eco’ credentials. Using the same principles as house building, we can provide solutions for timber frame garages of any size and type. With the versatility of timber frame, extra storage areas in the roof space or even living areas can be incorporated into the design to give your garage an extra dimension, adding both extra space and value to your home. Ranges of finish vary from basic, with only the essential requirements covered, to the most expensive, with the highest specification of materials and gadgets. Our designers are on hand to create a bespoke design to meet your specification and budget. If you have any design ideas, we are more than happy to discuss the feasibility of these with a view to incorporating them into your design.

A basic timber frame garage may consist of-

  • Open stud walls internally.
  • Timber cladding to the external façade.
  • Open roof trusses/joists.
  • Felt roof.
  • No door.

A high specification garage may consist of-

  • Fully insulated and plasterboard lined walls.
  • Plastic polymer composite external cladding.
  • A room in the roof for storage or a living/office space.
  • Fully tiled roof.
  • Remote operated electric garage door.

Planning permission and building regulations approval may be required for our designs, this is project specific. Our designers can advise you on whether approval is required during the initial design stages (costs may apply).
